We at Daffodil Pre-School provide an atmosphere which feels safe, secure & welcoming to the child. Because children thrive on rhythms, our teachers maintain ‘the rhythm of the day’, so that children know what to expect. The Circle Time is an important part ‘The Daffodil Method’ (our curriculum) as it fosters the feeling of safety and security that children need for their healthy growth. We set daily routines which are comforting to children; the faces of their teachers and helpers also over a period, become a growing source of comfort to them.
We combine 3 methods of learning, which include a reality based hands-on experimentation with the environment (The Montessori Method), a play-based approach to education, where children are given the freedom to explore and experiment (The Play-Way Method) as well a method in which we nurture and strengthen the multiple intelligences which children possess (The Multiple Intelligence Method).
Children at Daffodil therefore grow to become independent and curious learners.
